I remember hearing a ton of Gordon Lightfoot as a kid growing up in Canada and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was one of the first songs I learned on guitar. It has a beautiful, haunting sound with an easy repeating chord progression. I demonstrate the chords as well as the rhythm on acoustic guitar in the first video of this three part series.
